Cold air.
Lots of skaters and all kinds of skating shoes.
Loud music and people talking.
Cold Ice and wet and cold pants!
Hot chips and cold air.
ITS FREEZING IN HERE!!!

As I arrived at the Paradise Ice skating with my mum and my sister, Alodia, could feel the goosebumps rising on my skin. Even though I was wearing a puffy jacket I could still feel the chilly air. As we walked through the entrance my ears  pounded with loud music. We went to the skate shoes counter. Alodia and I took a pair and hopped onto the ice. Our mum just watched us. Alodia started skating straight away but it took me a bit longer. I stayed near the side hoping not to slip on the ice. Alodia stopped next to me.
We suddenly grabbed the side. Many skaters glided passed us. I watched them glide around the court. I wished I could skate like them. I asked my sister to help me skate. As Alodia told me what to do I was slowly able to let go of the side. I took a step and glided a little. I took another step, this time I went a longer way. Soon I was able to skate the whole court. I was proud of myself. After a few minutes I could skate 15 rounds. Alodia and I skated to the middle. We were careful not to get in the way of any older skaters whizzing past us. For lunch we had hot chips. It was a fun day.
