On Tuesday 17 of October 2017, a group of Indian people came to Owairaka District school. They performed many dances. The woman danced and the men played instruments. They told us about Diwali and its story. The woman wore colourful sarees.
Then one of the woman dancing, taught some teachers how to do some simple moves.
I enjoyed having the people talking to our school about Diwali.
